Jīnguāng shén zhòu金 光 神 咒 Golden Light Spirit Mantra
天地玄宗 萬炁本根 廣修萬劫 證我神通 三界內外 唯道獨尊
The authentic Tao that lies between heaven and earth is the root of the Ten thousand vibrant energies.
Having cultivated myriad experiences for thousands of kalpas (lives), I obtained my magical powers (including these that connect to all mysterious things).
Within and beyond these three realms, the Tao (the true nature of self) is the only supreme Truthfulness.
體有金光 覆映吾身 視之不見 聽之不聞 包羅天地 養育群生
The cosmic body of Tao shines golden lights, it illuminates (shines and reflects) me, my whole body.
Seeing it but no thing is seen, hearing it but no thing is heard.
The Tao contains the heaven and the earth, and nourishes and cultivates all living beings.
誦持萬遍 身有光明 三界侍衛 五帝司迎 萬神朝禮 役使雷霆
Reciting and acting on this mantra ten thousand times, the body becomes lightened and shines. I am protected by the guards of the three realms; welcomed by the emperors of the five directions; saluted by the ten thousand deities with deep respects; and I take the lightning and thunders as my servants.
鬼妖喪膽 精怪亡形 內有霹靂 雷神隱名 洞慧交澈 五氣騰騰
The ghosts and monsters are terrified; the demons lose form and die. Inside, thunderbolts are my weapons, the no named thunder god helps and cleanses. The caves (brains and nerves system) vibrate with the cosmic consciousness clearly, and the five energies (of these five organs) expand and rise.
金光速現 覆護真人 急急如律令
Let the golden light appear here and now, to protect my true-being, as swiftly as is promised in the laws and edicts.
