Life Transition Doula Certificate Program
This Life-Transition Doula certification program is designed for healthcare professionals, acupuncturists, caregivers, family members and hospice volunteers. These series of classes will give confidence and the necessary skills for carrying out compassionate and natural conscious dying (NCD) C.H.A.N.T. protocol during the last stages of life at home. Natural Conscious Dying (NCD), with the support of traditional modalities benefits not only the dying but the loved ones of the dying as well as bringing consciousness and humanity to all health professionals.
The hospice movement provides a great solution for modern fast paced life, but its direction needs to be readdressed. Natural healing remedies and this hands-on modalities approach provides more humane responses than chemical drugs for symptoms. Many conditions require the Doula to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the patient with a deeper and more humane touch. Traditional natural healings including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Natural Conscious Dying (NCD) supports the Life Transition / Death Doula to access a variety of tools for individualized care at this final stage. TCM offers the principles, methods, remedies and spiritual practice to allow the dying process to unfold on its own. The Life Transition / Death Doula program will carry TCM principles and the practice of the NCD protocol to help people at the end of life. The NCD protocol is summarized as C.H.A.N.T. Students will learn the C.H.A.N.T. protocol. This approach is supportive, loving and compassionate for all during the dying process allowing for a smooth and peaceful passing, as far as is possible.
This class will be 50 hours and held over seven weeks. Each week’s class will be seven hours and the last week’s class will be eight hours. These 50 hours are certified by the California Acupuncture Board and are pending for the California Nursing Program. Contact us by email to discuss the certificate program fee.
