Acute Stroke Care and Recovery with Traditional Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture, Fire-Cupping, Blood-Letting, and Herbal Medicine

Course Objectives

1.      Recognize early signs and symptoms of stroke and understand appropriate emergency response procedures.

2.      Identify Traditional Chinese Medicine etiologies and pattern differentiation associated with Zhong Feng.

3.      Understand clinical treatment principles used in acupuncture treatment for stroke recovery.

4.      Review traditional techniques including acupuncture, fire-cupping, blood-letting therapy, and herbal medicine used in stroke rehabilitation.

5.      Understand post-treatment care and rehabilitation approaches according to Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.

Participants who cancel their registration at least 5 days prior to the course date will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of $15.00.
